14-Day Namibia Botswana & Victoria Falls

Day 1 and 2: from Home to Windhoek
You’ll depart in the evening for your flight to Windhoek in Namibia. 

Day 3 Windhoek (D)
On arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport in Namibia’s capital, Windhoek, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for the night. After check in hotel you can relax to ease the jetlag.

Day 4 Windhoek to Naukluft National Park   (BD)

Today we travel south west to the Namib Naukluft National Park, which contains the biggest Namib Desert and the largest game park in Africa (40,000 sq. km). Let’s take a walk to Sesriem Canyon, then we’ll visit the Dead Vlei where the remains of trees died over 1000 years ago and sand dune made the important elements of picture perfect land scape. Later we will climb the famous dune 45, and watch the sunset on the top. Return to campsite tonight.

Day 5 Sossuvlei to Etosha National Park (BD)
Today we drive towards north to famous Etosha National Park where abundant wildlife that congregates around the waterholes, giving you almost guaranteed game sightings. Almost a quarter of the beautiful National Park is covered by the largest salt pan in Africa- the Etosha Pan, which is bare and vast land covered with shimmering green and white.

Day 6 Etosha National Park (BL)
We’ll have a full day adventure in the park in searching of the elephants, lions, giraffe and more from the 114 species of mammals and 340 bird species which lives here. It is certainly the photographer’s dream land for wildlife pictures. 

Day 7 Etosha National Park to Windhoek (BLD)
This morning is yours to have the last chance to view the wildlife in the park. We say goodbye to Etosha National Park. Afterwards we drive back to Windhoek. Relax at hotel tonight.

Day 8 Windhoek, Namibia – Ghanzi, Botswana (BLD)
You will be on the road to Ghanzi in Botswana and arrive in the afternoon. Upon your arrival at the lodge, the San community will welcome you with a traditional tribal dance performance. You will also have the opportunity to book a Bushman walk ($30 p/p) to learn more about the San people (also called Bushmen). Enjoy a three courses meal tonight.

Day 9 Ghanzi, Botswana to Maun (B)

Your next stop is Maun, also known as the ‘gateway’ to the Okavango Delta. Be fascinated by the contrasts of modern buildings and mud huts when you spend the night here.

Day 10 Okavango Delta (B)
In the morning you will opt to fly from Maun over the world famous Okavango Delta to Moremi Crossing (from $180). In the afternoon we will take a traditional Mokoro Boat trip into the delta to fully enjoy the area has to offer. 

Day 11 Okavango Delta to Nata (B)

Today we travel to Nata, upon arrival we check in hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Or take an optional bush walk in that area or sunset wild life safari.

Day 12 Nata to Chobe National Park (B)
Today’s journey takes you further north to Kasane where you will end the day with a sunset cruise on the Chobe River. Enjoy watching elephants, hippos and buffaloes flocking to the riverbank for some water.

Day 13 Chobe National Park to Victoria Falls (B)

Today we cross the border to Zimbabwe to Victoria falls, enjoy the fall view in the park. Take an optional fight over the fall ($215 for 15 minutes) will be once in a life time experience to see the largest waterfall in the world.

Day 14 Victoria Falls to Home (B)

Depart for your homebound flight anytime.
